(FMF) Jeraldo (huacaya Jr. stud) Jeraldo’s bloodlines are impressive, he was sired by multi-ribbon winning NWA El Cuba (grandsire 3Peruvian El Moustachio). The quality of his genotype has been proven over and over in the high standard his full and ¾ siblings . Light fawn, in a vicuna pattern, Jeraldo has exceptional crimp and character consistently through his heavy, dense fleece, 22mc AFD at one year old. (FMF) Dust Commander. (Huacaya stud.) Dusty is a pinkish shade of pearl grey (product of two rose-grey parents), with an unbeatable histogram (22 mc at 4 years of age, less than 1% >30mc). Tall, straight, and with an extremely ‘alert’ presence, Dusty settles his ladies quickly, reproducing his silky coat, and perfect conformation. His fiber is a handspinner’s dream, clients rave about his cria; and his fiber’s still winning ribbons at seven years of age. (FMF) Patagonia Rainier. (huacaya) If you know the wonderful studs of Alpacas de la Patagonia, you will appreciate that our Rainier is grandson of two of their best: Sinopsis Noctura and Shakleton. Rainier is medium silver grey, out of an ultrafine rose grey dam, and a silver grey sire, Yukon, both from Patagonia. 20 mc AFD as an adult, very dense, and has already picked up blue ribbons. (FMF) Macho Negro. (huacaya stud) You want black, but you don’t want the coarseness that often goes with it. “Macho” is true black and dense, with a fine crimp, and a nice ‘hand’ to his fiber, with a Bolivian style topknot. He has correct conformation, great coverage, heavy ‘bone’, and straight lines all ‘round. Settles ladies like the professional he is; we have been very pleased with his cria & several have been ribbon winners. He predictably darkens the dam’s color, often producing black, even by fawns. Many of our Macho clients come back for a re-breeding.
Stud fee: $2,500.

(FMF) Patagonia Bulnes. (Huacaya stud) The color “maroon” is probably one of the most mis-used and mis-understood in the alpaca industry, as it is rare, very desirable, but difficult to achieve. A true maroon will throw this color (as Bulnes does) as well as black and related shades. But Bulnes has more than color genes to offer: he has a dense, heavy fleece with great character & has produced prize-winning cria. His reputation was earned at Alpacas de la Patagonia, he’s owned by Fenwick Manor Farm. Stud fee: $2,500. | |

(FMF) Colonel Fenwick. Rare-colored suri stud. “The Colonel” is one of the showiest animals at Fenwick Manor Farm: his heavy locks cover him fully, and shine in the sun. Col. Fenwick has red tones and roaning that define him as a dark rose grey; his parents are dark silver and rose grey. His first crias on the ground are luscious: blue-grey, maroon, and true black, large and robust.
Stud fee: $5,000.
